Full Metal Jacket, with special guests Vincent D’Onofrio and Jan Harlan
March 26 (Friday) 7:00 pm
Actor Vincent D’Onofrio and executive producer Jan Harlan will discuss the process of working with Kubrick during the filming of Full Metal Jacket, brilliant and darkly humorous movie about the insanity of war.
Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures, with special guest Jan Harlan
March 24 (Wednesday) 6:30 pm
The SLC is proud to present the documentary Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures. Following the screening, director/producer, and brother-in-law of Stanley Kubrick, Jan Harlan will be on hand to speak about his experiences with Kubrick, both on and off screen. A Q&A session will follow.
The Shining, with special guests Jan Harlan and Andrew Syder
March 25 (Thursday) 6:30 pm
The SLC will screen the Stanley Kubrick classic The Shining. Following the film, executive producer Jan Harlan and FSU Film School faculty member Dr. Andrew Syder will be engaging in a public discussion about the influence of this film on the horror and suspense genres of filmmaking.
